There is no better feeling than collecting fresh warm eggs from hens that you have raised. It is great having the peace of mind knowing what they have been fed, and that they havent been juiced up with hormones and antibiotics. The difference in taste is very noticeable, and I can barely eat an egg from the store anymore. If you have been thinking about taking on chicken keeping, I definitely recommend you take the plunge.
